François Truffaut has his tried-and-tested style, which he remains faithful to today. It's certainly one of the most interesting movies of 1966 year. These days, new movies that come to cinema's, does not have 'something' that is hidden in this movie. Fahrenheit 451 movie, more than once, all you can watch. From all the movies I watched last time, Fahrenheit 451 surprised me the most. It was an emotion explosion for me. Based on the 1951 novel by Ray Bradbury of the same name. Guy Montag is a firefighter who lives in a lonely, isolated society where books have been banned by a government that fears independent public opinion. It is the responsibility of the firefighters to burn visible books or collections mentioned by whistleblowers. People in this society, including Monday's wife, are drug addicts and receive information about the length of the wall from television screens. After falling in love with collecting Clarisse books, Montag begins reading confiscated books. Thanks to this relationship, he begins to question the government's motives for smoking books. It soon turns out that Montag has to decide whether to go back to work or run away and knows exactly what consequences he could have if he was captured.... Show more
