This John Woo film tells the story of Mark and Ho, friends and couriers of a Hong Kong crime syndicate, with a major counterfeiting operation. Ho is crossed twice during the preparation and goes to the police, and Mark is shot while taking revenge. The conspiracy is compounded by the fact that Ho's younger brother Kit is a newbie, whose reputation is being destroyed by his gangster brother. When Ho is released from prison, he wants to start a new life without crime. Unfortunately, his past haunts him, and criminal bosses rely on him, and Mark encourages him to return to life as a partner in crime.
