Dark Passage

Dark Passage is one of the most known movies from Delmer Daves. The cast is also extremely convincing in their roles. I sat in the cinema for a long time after the movie ended, reflecting on my thoughts, and returned home in a calm and meditative mood. It is really hard not to enjoy watching Dark Passage. From all the movies I watched last time, Dark Passage surprised me the most. There are films that you are considering mainly about how to evaluate them. They aim between 6 and 8 and after a longer thinking, in fact, you see that you were having fun and in total, had some good aspects, so the 'six' is not satisfying, but he did not discover anything new and had some disadvantages, so he did not already deserves the 'eight'. Bogart plays a man convicted of murdering his wife, who escapes from prison to prove his innocence. Bogart discovers that his facial features are too familiar and has to look for illegal plastic surgery in the back room. The whole part of the film in front of the knife was shot from Bogart's point of view when we first saw the refugee when he began to recover from the operation in the apartment of a likeable young artist (played by Bacall), for whom he would soon be the Feeling. But he really wants revenge.
